Rachael is a senior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Psychology with a Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor. Outside of school, Rachael enjoys performing comedy with Derby: A Women's Comedy Troupe and Second Floor Stand-Up, writing for Phroth--Penn State's humor publication, and spending time with her friends. In the future, Rachael plans to eventually attend graduate school in order to further pursue her studies in Psychology.

Tierney Smith

Research Assistant

Tierney is a senior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Biobehavioral Health with a minor in Diversity and Inclusion. Outside of school, Tierney enjoys reading, writing, and being involved with student organizations on campus. After graduation, Tierney plans on gaining experience in the workforce before heading towards graduate school.

Claire Martin

Claire is a senior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Diversity and Inclusion in Health and Human Development. Outside of school, Claire enjoys spending time with her friends and family, DIY projects, and baking. After graduation, Claire plans to attend graduate school to get her Master's degree in Social Work.

Devan Walker

Devan is a junior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology and Diversity and Inclusion. Outside of school, Devan enjoys doing community service and trying new restaurants. After graduation Devan plans to attend graduate school in another country to get her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

Emily Laird

Emily is a junior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Spanish and Human Development and Family Studies. Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends. She hopes to pursue a career helping others and continuing to speak Spanish after graduation, possibly working in social work or studying law.

Isabella Taffera

Isabella is a sophomore undergraduate student at Pennsylvania State University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Child Maltreatment and Advocacy Studies. When not in class, Isabella likes to exercise, try new recipes, and play board games with friends. After graduation, Isabella plans to attend graduate school to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work.

Catherine Rizzotti

Catherine is a junior studying Human Development and Family Studies and minoring in Sociology. Outside of the lab, Catherine is also part of the PSU Healthworks program and works as a peer educator specializing in sleep, stress and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys fitness and yoga, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors. After graduation, Catherine plans on going to graduate school to get a Master’s in Psychology.

Deborah Grace

Deborah is a junior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Biobehavioral Health with a Women Studies minor. Outside of school, Deborah enjoys powerlifting, hiking, music, and photography. After graduation, Deborah plans to attend an accelerated nursing program, then later a Nurse Practitioner program to go into the field of Women’s health.

Karyn Capotorto

Karyn is a junior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University studying Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Child Maltreatment and Advocacy Studies. Outside of school, Karyn enjoys volunteering for THON, being a leader in her sorority, and running. After graduation, Karyn plans to attend graduate school to get her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work.

Victoria Rosado

Outside of school, Victoria enjoys making candles and recording and editing her podcast, The Mila Agenda. After graduation, Victoria plans to attend graduate school to get her Master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
